Discover and choose your sport activity at University of Rennes
With more than 40 activities offered at the university, you’ll be able to continue your favourite sport or discover something new.
And you can organise your activities as you like! The first step is to pay the Student Campus Life Contribution CVEC (see administrative formalities)
► Dojo, training rooms, tennis courts, swimming pool, stadium...Discover all the sporting facilities available on our campuses
► Weight training and physical fitness rooms: In Rennes, you can get access to two weight training and physical fitness rooms during the opening hours, on Beaulieu and Villejean campuses (training sport card costs €42 and allows you unlimited access for the academic year)
►Sport competition: In Rennes and in Saint-Brieuc, competitions can be organised Throught University Sport associations. Students willing to participate to competitions have to get a FFSU (Fdérération Française du Sport Universitaire) card (€15 in Rennes, €20 in Saint-Brieuc), and get a medical certificate allowing the practice of sport competition.

If you were able to register on the main list, you have to go directly, with the appropriate outfit, to the sport activity. The teacher will evaluate if your level matches the level of the course, and validate your registration accordingly.
Beware that if you don't come to the first course, your place for the course will be given to another student from the waiting list.
In case you were not able to register on the main list, you can be alerted via email if a place is available during the year.
► Payment : participation to one course (one weekly session) is free, once paid the Student and Campus Life Contribution CVCE (if you are an exchange student, you don't have to pay the CVEC. Check on Campus France website whether you have to pay this contribution or not). Participation to a second course costs €30 per year (to be paid online on the SIUAPS website)
Sport as part of your studies
You can choose a sport for your own personal development or integrate it into your curriculum as an UE (Unité d’Enseignement), and so make the most of a sporting strength.
You can also get ECTS (European Credits) depending on your study department and your sport activity.
