The Université de Rennes 1 strengthens its collaboration with the University of Masaryk, partner in the EDUC Alliance

On 9 and 10 November 2022, the Université de Rennes 1 welcomed a delegation from Masaryk to strengthen their collaboration on health (Exposome) and cybersecurity and to sign two cooperation agreements regarding two double degrees in economics.

Composed of Martin Bareš, Rector, Michal Bulant, Vice-Rector for Studies and Quality, Břetislav Dančák, Vice-Rector for Internationalisation and Jiří Špalek, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, the delegation was welcomed on Wednesday by David Alis, president of the Université de Rennes 1, Sébastien Le Picard, Vice-president in charge of European programmes, Muriel Hissler, Vice-Presidente in charge of International Relations, Hélène Muscat director of IPAG and Yvon Rocaboy, teacher at the Faculty of Economics.

The Czech delegation took the opportunity to visit the IRSET laboratory (Institute for Research in Health, Environment and Work), with which Masaryk University is associated under a joint supervision within the framework of the European UniverCity - EDUC programme, and to meet Michel Samson (director of Irset), Caroline Moreaux (head of international relations at the Faculty of Medicine), Vincent Bessonneau (director of the LERES), Fanny Helliot (director of international relations at the EHESP), Arthur David (teacher-researcher at the EHESP) and Claire Piquet-Pellorce (director of the science collegium and researcher at IRSET).

Signing of two cooperation agreements between the University of Masaryk and the Université de Rennes 1

President David Alis and his Czech counterpart Martin Bareš signed two cooperation agreements concerning two double degrees in economics. The two programmes, which can welcome up to 60 students, involve the Faculty of Economics and Administration of University of Masaryk and the Faculty of Economics and IPAG of the Université de Rennes 1. Students will now have the possibility to enrol in the Franco-Czech Public Administration programme, a cooperation between the two partners since 1999, or in its new variant, "Finance and Public Policy", taught in English.
