Université de Rennes 1 receives the excellency Label « Bienvenue en France»

Université de Rennes 1 was awarded the excellency Label « Bienvenue en France» by the French minister of Higher Education, Monday, 8th July 2019, in Paris

The Bienvenue en France Label is one of the key axis of the national attractivity policy « Choose France », promoting the attractivity of French Higher Education institutions to International Students. Université de Rennes 1 becomes thus one of the first French universities whose quality of service for international students is recognised by a national label.

Criteras in order to receive this Label set by Campus France agency are:

  1. The quality and accessibility of information
    At Université de Rennes 1, informations for International Students are available online in French and in English, and application processes are dematerialised. Throughout the year, students can find useful informations through a dedicated Digital Working Environment (ENT, Environnement Numérique de Travail)
  2. Reception facilities and services
    Université de Rennes 1 organises events specially for International students, such as International Students welcome party, and helps International students in their relocation in Rennes, providing administrative support and information (for visas, accomodation, Healthcare, etc..)
  3. Training offer
    Université de Rennes offers training in various discipines, and provides programmes fully taught in English . Students coming through an exchange programme benefit from free French courses taught at Rennes’s language centre CIREFE, facilitating their everyday life in France.
  4. Accomodation
    Students coming through an exchange programme automatically benefit from a room reserved by the International Relations Office in one of the CROUS student residence. Individual students can get help in order to find an accomodation, throught the Helpdesk CMI (Centre for International Mobility)
  5. Campus life
    Our university staff provides guidance for students’ everyday life, from their application and throught their whole stay in Rennes.
  6. Following-up international students after graduation
    Université de Rennes 1 has got several students’ associations in each study department, as well as Alumni networks, among which our Graduate School of Management IGR-IAE. A dedicated service (SOIE, Service d’Orientation Insertion et Entrepreneuriat ) helps students’ professionnal integration and provides graduates’ follow-up survey
